This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including semi-structured interviews and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted through data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.
The findings of the study indicate that: implementation of GROW-TS coaching in SMP is carried out through the stages of academic supervision, which are planning, organising, implementing, monitoring, and evaluation; strategies used by coaches to improve coachees performance includes forming collaborative teams, facilitating communication and collaboration, monitoring teacher performance through classroom visits, providing motivation, and evaluating teacher performance. Supporting factors include harmonious relationships, needs analysis, strategies and media used by coaches, revisions based on previous study findings, and coach skills. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include conflict among coachees, coaches lecturing coachees, time constraints, and coachees’ lack of open-mindedness.
